On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: money goes in via Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, while the withdrawal arrives by transfer. What you may still know as Payconiq has been Bancontact Pay since March 2026. Bancontact is tied to virtually every Belgian debit card, with a threshold that rarely drops under €5.
